Balaam Dockery - 1800s NC and TN

I would like to hear from anyone who has any additional information on this Balaam Dockery.

He married Mary Allman in Burke Co, NC on Feb 26, 1818. Her maiden name was Mary White and she was the widow of Lewis Allman. She and Lewis Allman were married in Burke Co on Aug 31, 1809. Lewis Allman served in a Burke Co unit during the War of 1812. I suspect he may have died in conjunction with that war.

Balaam is listed on the 1820 census in Burke Co, age 26-45, with one female age 26-45 and 4 boys and 2 girls in the household.

Balaam is listed on the 1830 census in Buncombe Co NC, age 30-40, with one female age 30-40 and 5 boys and 2 girls in the household.

There was a Balaam Dockery on the 1840 census in Maury Co, TN but I have not yet been able to look at it to determine if it might be the same Balaam.

Balaam and his wife Polly (Mary) are listed on the 1850 census in Cocke Co, TN.
They are both listed as age 56. Also in the household are 2 males Alexander Dockery age 15 and Oliver Allman age 12.

I have not been able to locate Balaam and his family on the 1860 census.

Balaam and his wife Mary are listed on the 1870 census in Buncombe Co, NC.
He is listed as age 78 and she is listed as age 80. In the census record they are listed as either living in the same household or adjacent to the household of Marys son Jacob Allman, who was born in Burke Co, NC in 1810.

Balaam apparently died prior to 1880. His wife Mary is listed on the 1880 census in Madison Co, NC. She is living in the household of Jonas Clark and is listed as his grandmother, a widow, age 91.

I would appreciate any additional information that anyone can provide:
1. When and where did Balaam and Mary die?
2. Where are they listed in the 1860 census?
