I have "Able Dockery enlisted as private 20 June 1814 in Capt. Henry Newlin's company, Col. Phillip Pipkin Militia Infantry; eft sick at Fort Williams 4 Nov. 1814. Buried at or near Fort Williams,15 miles southwest of Childersville,Ala." I found this in the Maury Co War of 1812 book page 52. I thought maybe Able and Balaam were brothers and John 91 in the Marshall Co 1850 census was there dad or uncle. In 1814 Marshall co would have been Lincoln Co Tn.
