Any one of GETMAN / DOCTSTADER descent is welcome to submit family lineage, to be published in an update of the current Getman Family Genealogy, last published in 1974 by Borden Getman. I have been working on the GETMAN family for some time and have compiled over 25,000 GETMAN descendants and wish to get as much new information before publication.
If you have information which pertains to the GETMAN family, particularly the Casper-Frederick lines of Montgomery,Herkimer, Jefferson, Otsego, Oswego, and Fulton counties NY, and the Getmans of Buck County, PA, please e-mail me as soon as possible so you may be included in the update!
