I have John Dodds abt. 1777-1862, m.Eliz.___ abt 1785-1861
Michael before 1810-1888
Michael Gilbert Dodds abt.1837-1894, m Anne Carr
George Gilbert Dodds 1865-1911, m Louella (Ella) Heaton
George William Dodds 1901-1966, m Maude Wilcox

George and Maude are my parents. This family came from Roxboroughshire, Scotland to Northern New York in the early 1800's. I know that Michael was christened in Northumberland. I understand the families went back and forth to and from the two areas. All are buried here in Northern New York. The stone for John must be in his memory because the cemetery had not been established at the time of his death. He must have died in Scotland but Eliz. came with the Michael family. The rest were born here.

Do you see any connections with your line?

Jean Dodds Given
