Rudolph Heinrich Doerr (or Dörr)

I am hoping someone might have some information on my great-grandfather, Rudolph Heinrich Doerr, born in Kassel Colony on 21 Nov 1880. Married Katharina Hausauer in 1910 (where?) and had 7 children: Bertha, Henry, Rudolph, Emma, Martha, Leah, and Kathryn. He and his wife arrived in New York in 1901 and settled in North Dakota. I would love to learn more about Kassel, the German colony in Russia, and Rudolph's parents and siblings.

Thanks in advance for your time and consideration!

Chris Eisner
