Do you know what area of Germany your Charles came from?

My Doerr's were also in Monroe Co (mainly Waterloo). My 2nd gr.grandfather married his first wife there in Dec 1848. The names Charles (b. 1849) and Heinrich/ Henry (b. 1866) also appear in our Doerr family in Monroe Co.
