Dear Mr Kisabeth,
Thank you so much for the information on Garner.I'm searing the Doggett family forum for a friend of mine who does not have I-Net access.I was actually looking for the father of William Jasper Doggett b. 7-29-1827.I've come to the "brick wall" concerning TARRENCE DOGGETT b. abt 1800 probably South Carolina. Was married to JANE UNKNOWN had 11-12 children.I've been searching all of the Jasper counties I can find listed to try to trace WILLIAM "JASPER" DOGGETT.I've tried to find JANE JASPER or other JASPER family forums for info on this little twig of the tree, with no luck.If you have an idea as to which direction I should turn, I would be most appreciative.I found a wealth of info on one daughter of "Tarrence & Jane":Sarah Jane Doggett m. Eli H. Gregory 2-27-1873 in Lawrence Co AL.I found all of this branch with no problem.I haven't been able to find any info on the other sons and daughters.WILLIAM JASPER,MARY ELIZABETH,SAMUEL,JAMES H,JOHN R,TABITHA might be BERTHA ANN,PLEASANT,JOSEPH E,SARAH JANE,DAVID CALVIN,MARTHAALABAMA, & (HARRIET b. abt 1830 don't know if she is a child of "Tarrence & Jane) she lived with the family. My friend thinks the name is William Tarrence Doggett, I can find no info on this man. Most of the children were married in AL.I don't know their birth places.ANY info at all would be helpful and I thank you so much for taking the time to share your information, which I know was not easy to come by, and for replying to a "message in a bottle" sent out on this internet sea. Thanks, again.
Best Regards,
Dianne Tomich
