Hello Clifton,
After I received your E-mail earlier in the month, I drafted a reply and then failed to send it. I am sending it now, but since you have posted this message, I am putting the same reply as a followup here.

I checked my notes and they indicate that the cemetery where Sarah Ann and Joel Blackwell are supposed to be buried was adjacent to the State Line Baptist Church (formerly Blackwell's Church). In 1897, the land was owned by John Camp. We are clearly talking about the same place. In 1897, there were 31 graves counted there, but I don't think that either Sarah Ann or Joel's stones were
recognizable then. In 1998, there was only one stone with legible lettering, someone named McKinney. I doubt that any Suttles were buried in that cemetery.
The only connection between Sarah Ann and the Camps that I know of is that Sarah Ann's grandaughter, Sarah Byars Suttle, married Aaron Camp, who had 19 brothers. John Camp may have been a descendant of one of those brothers, but it has been stated by researchers that all of them left Rutherford county and went to other southern states, so I really don't have a clue as to who John Camp was.

Jim
