Well, we are related, but very distantly. We are both descended from Bushrod and Ann (Stripling) Doggett, of Culpeper Co., VA, but through different children; you through his daughter Sarah Ann and her illegitimate son Bushrod, and myself through his son Benjamin and his son Thomas Bushrod Doggett. If I calculated correctly, we are sixth cousins twice removed!
The Sarah Doggett/William Morrow line descends from Bushrod, Sarah Ann, and Bushrod to his son George who was the father of Sarah Doggett who married William Morrow. William Morrow was the son of James and Elizabeth (Suttle) Morrow.
I don't have the George Doggett page reposted on my website yet, but hope to do it soon. If you haven't found my site, it is located at "" It was off-line for several months and I am trying to get updated pages back on line.
I do not have much information about Elizabeth and Joseph Baber. What I have is:
Elizabeth A. Morrow, dau. of William and Sarah Morrow; b. 19 Jan 1838, Rutherford Co., NC; d. 1 Jan 1897, Rutherford Co, NC; m. Joseph H. Baber, who died in service during the Civil War, leaving three children. Obviously one of the children was Judith E., accoding to your message.
I would appreciate receiving any additional information you can supply about the Baber and descendants for inclusion in my webpage.
I may have som additional Morrow and Suttle information in my files that pertains to your line. I will see what I can find.
You can contact me directly by E-mail at ""
Good luck.
