Nimrod Brown

I am trying to confirm a Nimrod Brown to a Jothem Brown
family in Botetourt Co, later Montgomery Co, VA around
C. 1800. A Nimrod Brown purchased a land grant in Botetourt
County, VA on Aug 21,1800 on the "waters of Willson's Creek of the North Fork Roanoak". Two days later, a Sylvanus
Brown purchased a land grant at this same location. This
Sylvanus Brown is a PROVEN son of Jothem Brown. Can
anyone tell me if this Nimrod Brown in yourfamily is the
same Nimrod Brown at Willson's Creek and Roanoak River
in 1802?
Would greatly appreciate any information.
