Thanks. Some details here that I didn't have.
His brother John Wesley served in the same unit.
The relationship between Griffin's Battalion and Spaight's regiment is confusing. I haven't sorted all that out yet, but will eventually.
I have requested a few Texas penson records from Texas Library and Archives, but haven't received them yet.
