Thanks for the quick response! I have not checked Oglethorpe Co. - but I will. I had found records of Doggetts in Clarke Co. Ga. & surrounding areas in the early 1800's, by head of household names, but have not been able to pin point family members' names. I feel sure my Susan must have been a daughter belonging to one of those households. Thank you.
