Mary Ann Elizabeth Thomas YARBROUGH [YARBROUGH / YARBOROUGH] DOGGETT, 1816-1854, is buried Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, DeSoto County, Mississippi.

Mary Ann Elizabeth Thomas YARBROUGH, 1816-1854, married Richard Eubanks [Eubank / Eubanks] DOGGETT, October 17, 1833, Columbia County, Georgia.

Daughter Arabella R. DOGGETT, 1840-1859, is also buried Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, DeSoto County, Mississippi.

This church cemetery is maintained locally by the city, to our understanding, and no longer is affiliated with the church formerly associated; it has withstood vandalism in the early 1900's and a terrific wrenching of trees, etc, and lost grave markers in the early 1970's.

Interested in learning more about this Richard E. DOGGETT family; he is enumerated as owning some 51 slaves prior to the Civil War....
