Hi,Louis, great to hear from a Doggett descendent. My husband was a direct descendent from the first Thomas, and his line continued to Ebenezar Doggett married to Elizabeth Rickard, their son Samuel married to Deborah Foster, daughter Elizabeth married to Thomas Kempton, etc.
In North Attleboro, Mass. my daughter and I found a family plot of a distant cousin, H.Doggett, whose textile company had Union Army contract to provide sword holders. This Dogget was also active in town affairs, library funding, etc. Doggets did get around. There is a picture of an early Dogget wife in the Slater Park house in Pawtucket, R.I., who is direct ancestor of my husband. LD.
