HI Laura,
Nice to hear from you,
I to am a direct decendant of Thomas Doggett who arrived in this country on the "Marey Anne" in May 1637
my Mother was a Doggett daughter of Frank L. Doggett who was a son of John Andrew Doggett ( he died at sea in June of 1913, his father was a John also direct line to Thomas
I have the information of the generations from Thomas to me and my children.
Any info I can share please let me know,in my hunt for Doggetts I found many in the family in "Hunt's Point Nova Scotia", where John Doggett and his brothers Samuel and Ebenezer with others left Mass, as he was a loyalist for the crown and settled his people in a new land, Nova Scotia, Canada
For John's loyalty the King gave him a island known as "Doggett Island" now known as "Port Mouton"
thanks for writing
