You can tell by the time passed since your original message that I rarely work on this site. But, I discovered these Doggett messages that are somewhat suspect in my mind. I have no doubt that there was a tintype of someone on the wall, but I doubt that it was Bushrod Doggett, since he died in 1829, and the tintype was invented in 1853 and not patented in this country until 1856. Nevertheless, a picture of any kind of him would be interesting to see.
