Well, there COULD be.... but there seem to be a large number of Doidges in south west Devon. Sarah Guest, nee Doidge, (1824-1873) of Bere Ferrers (Beerferris) and Bere Alston (Beeralston) was my great great grandmother. Ufortunately I know very little about the Doidge family, and have been hoping to find someone who is researching their history.
