Hi Hilton, your correct the name widdowson was Elizabeth Anne Chilcott's maiden name she was the mother of Mary Lucy Chilcott,Edmund Verney Chilcott and Annie Chilcott.
She was my GGgrandmother.I'm also Interested in the Doidge side as my wife's family goes back to the Doidge family from Devon her GGgrandmother was Amelia Doidge born in Tavistock 1839 father Edward Doidge and mother Charlotte
Arthur. Do these name mean anything to you. Amelia married
Charles Henry Spencer 1856 Carrisbrooke Victoria.
Yours Mitchell
