Mike,
I don't know if this will be any connection, but...my g.g. grandmother, Lucie Doiron, is from Prairie du Rocher, IL. She was born between 1834-1862 and died in the 1900's. She was married to Benjamin J. Barbeau and had three children..Daniel, Celeste and
Theodore (my g. grandfather). I am in the process of searching for more information. If you are interested, I will keep you posted.
