Bonjour Monsieur Breton,

My name is Jacques Doiron and I live in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu (Québec). My father was born in St-Laurent de Matapédia, nearby St-Alexis and Restigouche. Looking for my ancestors in that area, I ordered microfilms from les Archives Nationales du Québec. In microfilm reel M-177-5, registre d'état civil de Ste-Anne-de-Restigouche 1842-1884, I found an act for the death of Thomas Doiron, son Pacifique Doiron and Marguerite Gallant, who died at 11 years old Febuary 11th 1870.

For almost a year, maybe a little bit more, I'm in contact with Mr Paul Durant, who's trying to locate this Thomas Lemuel. Recently, I established contact with Mr Gary Gallant too, but the big unanswered question still is: Who are the parents of Thomas Lemuel ?

If you learned something about him, would you, please, contact me. I'll do the same if I do.

You can e-mail me directly

Have a nice week-end

Jacques Doiron
