Hi Lynn,

My name is Jacques DOIRON. I live in the province of Québec (Canada). I don't have too
much occasion the practice my english. I hope
you will excuse the poor quality of my english.

Even though I know it's not related, I just want to tell you that my grand-father, Wilfred DOIRON had a brother named Joseph. Here is my lineage until now:

My father is Paul DOIRON, born in 1928 at St-Laurent de Matapédia and still
alive.

My grand-father was Wilfred (best known as Wilfrid) DOIRON, born april 22nd
1893, probably in St_laurent de Matapédia and died in 1977 at the same place.
He married Louise (best known as Marie-Louise) GALLANT in St-Laurent de
Matapédia on august 10th 1921.

Wilfred had 2 brothers: Joseph ( Jos) and John DOIRON.

Joseph was married with
Berthe PEARSON and John with Gladys KENNEY. They settled in Maine between 1909
and 1928.

Wilfred had 3 sisters: Alice, Alexina and Christine.

Maybe one of those names will ring a bell to you.

If it's possible, I'd like to know more about the book you mentionned. Who is the author ? When was it published ? etc...

I will check, whitout any promises of succeeding to find something for you.

Have a nice day

Jacques Doiron
