I visited the Lee Township Cemetery in Allegan County Michigan this weekend and located 18 DOKEY gravesites. Some I recognized, some I did not. Found Grandpas Aunt Arzella and Uncle John. Mom says she remembers visiting their farmhouse in Grand Junction in the 1930's. She said it was a long drive down a dirt road. When they got there everybody piled out of the car and they dropped the bucket down the big well and got a drink of cold water. One of the graves is David J. DOKEY who was a Civil War veteran.
