Have any of you done any research in Canada on our line. I am now trying to do so. I aam working on the assumption that the name was spelled Duque as that was the spelling that was on the back of a picture of Emory's line. If so they were probably from the region around the French side of the Pyranee's mountains. However the spelling is most common if Spain. Please add to this forum anything that you have or any theroy on the name.
