Elisabeth and Jackson Dolin/Dollen

Elisabeth, age 74, and Jackson, age 35, both b TN, are listed as mother-in-law and brother-in-law, in the household of my great-grandfather Benjamin Allen Moore on the 1880 census of Dunklin Co., MO. Does anyone have a record of a Dolin/Dollen who married Benjamin, had a child Mary abt 1862, and then died? Benj married Corinthia Summers in New Madrid 1865, but Mary is listed as his dau in their hh in 1870 (age 8) and 1880 (age 18). The Dolins are not in their hh in the 1870 census. My grandfather is a child of Benj and Corinthia, but I'm trying to sort out his very complicated family. How else could the Dolins be in-laws? Benj was 30 yrs old in 1870.
