WWI Helmet
Posted by: Jason Gates (ID *****7267) Date: December 20, 2010 at 07:49:59

I have a WWI M1917 helmet someone gave me as a kid. It has the name Corp. James Clay Dulon scratched into the surface along with some apparent battle damage.

I am trying to identify this soldier, and "Dulon" appears to be a very uncommom spelling variation for this surname. Does anyone recognize this name or have any clues or suggestions?

Corporal Dulon could have served at any time frome the early 1900's to around the beginning of WWII.

Thanks!
