I will see what information I can find for you when I get home tonight. These are my
great great grandparents you are asking about. Their son John had a son named William who had a son John (German tradition naming for the grandfather)who was my grandpa. I have found Catherine's name
as Caroline also and yes they came from Bavaria. There are still a lot of Dollingers
(two L's in Germany) around Munich today.
