I discovered last night that the father of the first of my Dollard ancestors to come to America (Martin) was a John Dollard who lived in County Laois ("Leesh") in a small town named Cullahill. He married a woman named Mary, and they had at least two other sons besides my g-g-grandfather, named Thomas and John. Based on the birthdates of their sons (1815-1820?), it's possible that my John Dollard is your John B. Dollard. But because the name John keeps popping up, it might be a "long shot".
