I looked for death certificates for the 2 DOLLARDs you mentioned and found:

1. William DOLLARD, residence 1026 Bloomfield, Hoboken, Hudson Co, NJ died on 11 Jan 1929 of pulmonary tuberculosis; husband of Bridget McNALLY; he was born Dec ? 1879 Ireland [I guess his wife, who was the informant, was unsure of the day]; occupation storekeeper; parents Michael DOLLARD and Bridget CLOONEY, both born Ireland; buried at Holy Name Cemetery 14 Jan 1929.

2. Found a Joseph DOLLARD who died in 1934, also in Hoboken, but his death certificate says he was buried in Holy Cross Cemetery. He was the son of the above William DOLLARD and Bridget McNALLY, so I guess maybe someone wrote the cemetery wrong on the death certificate. Joseph died 30 Oct 1934 at St. Mary's Hospital of pulmonary hemorrhage and acute heart failure; he was born in Hoboken on 16 Aug 1903; husband of Benedicta MEANY; salesman; residence 908 Garden St, Hoboken.

Not my family - just thought someone might be interested.
