Thanks Dave for your response. I had a look at your family page and came across this info about:
Adam Dollard Des Ormeaux (1635-1660), a French soldier,
arrived in Canada from France about 1658 and became a garrison officer at Montreal.
Do you know anything about him? Did he have any descendents, brothers? Thanks again. Chrs Nona
