I am not researching this family, just entering information from the book "Pasquotank County, North Carolkina Record of Deeds, 1700-1752" by Gwen Boyer Bjorkman.

There are several ong records with mention of a will of Barbara Danson, spinster, of London, who left land to a Margaret Mollison, spinster of St. Bottulph Aldersgate Street London, and Danl. Dolley of St. Andrws Holbourn, London, Ironmonger. The land was 3,600 acres on the N.E. side of the Pasquotank River (which would probably now be in Camden County).

In February, 1738, Robert Dolley of Soulden in the County of Oxford, Grazier, brother and heir of Daniel Dolley, late of the Parish of St. Andrews Holbourn, London, Ironmonger, deceased, and William Dolley of the Parish of St. Andrews Holbourn in the County of Middlesex, Ironmonger, nephew of the said Robert Dolley. It appears the 3,600 acres of land was sold by Robert Dolley to his nephew William, as well as four Baronys, containing 48,000 acres.

In March, 1738,John Dolley of Aldersgate Street, London, Coffeeman, states he was elder brother of Danl. Dooley who died on or about 26 June 1735 without issue and without making a will. Mentions Robert Dolley of Soulden County, Oxford, grazier, is eldest brother and heir at law of said Daniel, deceased.

There are other entries for these men in this book.
