Marion, thanks for your quick response. Since my last post, I have found a couple of web sites with more info, which may be of interest to you. http://genforum.genealogy.com/dollins/messages/90.html has info on ancestors of Joel going back at least 3 more generations. Also, http://members.nbci.com/heycuz/famtree/sources/0091.html has a transcription of the births, marriages, and deaths from Joel Dollins' family bible. This site includes my descendency down to Louisa Sloan.
I do have (at least) two remaining Dollins isues/questions: 1) I am trying to find a link between James David (Jim Dave) Dollins and the Dollins in my line, and 2) trying to find any info on a Minnie Mae Dollins who died in Paragould, AR on December 15 (year unknown), since my family has a clipping of her obituary from a newspaper.
