Sorry, but I goofed. The original date of William's birth is correct. "1763" The date 7-9-1751 is Presley's birth date, which was on the line above William's. I will e-mail a word document with a picture of the page from the DAR Index. The Rev. War was from 1775 to when Cornwallis surrendered at Yorktown on Oct 19,1781. William could have been 16 to 18 years old during the Rev. War, if he served at the end of the war.
