Looking for a Mr. FNU DOLLENS, who married Alice Jane "Nelly" TAIT (born c. 1842 in England) c. 1860 in Allegheny Co, PA, and had children Alfred Herbert, b.c. 1862, Elizabeth, b.c. 1865, and possibly Nelly, b.c. 1872.

Family legend says that Mr. DOLLENS was a steamboat captain/worker who disappeared during an boat accident, and was presumed killed.

Alice married second John C. GRAY in Allegheny Co, PA. Mr. DOLLENS later reappeared, but his children and Alice were estranged from him and the children took the surname TAIT.
