Its not really muddled up. I assume the illigetimate
Sally Dollins was probably down in Northumberland.
But in the meantime life goes on.
Richard who was born in 1718 and died in Albemarle
in 1774, had a son named John who died in Albemarle
in 1787. John had a son named Richard who died before
Oct. 18, 1824. Richard had three children Sarah Dollins
born abt 1773 in Albemarle and who married William H.
Martin,Elizabeth, and John. Court records show that
this Sarah was the daughter of Richard Dollins, deceased
and Anna Burgher. On that date Oct. 18, 1824, Sarah
Dollins Martin and her husband converyed to John Dollins
land they inherited from her father Richard Dollins. On
the same day, her sister Elizabeth conveyed property
to John Dollins. Sarah Dollins was born about 1773, which
certainly gives her plenty of time to get married.
