Effie Dollins, William Dollins, MO
Posted by: David Hamilton (ID *****4579) Date: July 26, 2008 at 13:27:30

Researching ancestry of Effie Dollins, b ~1883, Missouri.

1910 census of Senath, Dunklin County Missouri:
Fannie Jones, 58, born AL, parents b GA, widowed, (6 children, 5 living
s, Eddie, 21, b AR, parents TN/AL, foreman mill
s, Delmar, 18, b AR, parents TN/AL, sawmill
d, Ethel, 15, b AR, parents TN/AR
in household
daughter, Effie Dollins, 27, b MO, parents TN/AL, cook, at home( mother of 5 children, 5 living), widowed
s, Cleatus Dollins, 10, b MO, parents AR/MO
s, Curtis Dollins, 8, b MO, parents AR/MO
s, Clarence Dollins, 5, b MO, parents AR/MO
d, Edith Dollins, 4, b MO, parents AR/MO
s, Clois(sp?) Dollins, 1, b MO, parents AR/MO

Fannie Jones was wife of Thomas Jones, who died before 1900.
We believe Fannie Jones was previously married and that Effie Dollins was child by previous marriage. Do not know previous marriage name.

1900 census of Clay Township, Dunklin County MO:
William M Dollins, 25(?), b AR, parents b TN, farm labor,
Mary E, 18, b MO, parents b MO, married 2 years,
s, Cletis M, 3/12, b MO.
Mary E could possibly be Mary Effie. Seems possible that this William Dollins was husband of Effie.
Did not find William Dollins in 1910 census.
