Found out quite a bit more info since that posting.

Believe that Fannie was a Wheeler, since her still living grandmother, Peggy, recalls that spelling.

The following William M Dollins is possibly the husband of Effie Doxie:
1900 census of Clay Township, Dunklin County MO:
William M Dollins, 25, b Feb 1875, AR, parents b TN, farm laborer,
Mary E, 18, b Dec 1881. MO, parents b MO, married 2 years, mother of 2 children, 1 living
s, Cletis M, 3/12, b Feb 1900, MO.
Mary E could possibly be Mary Effie. Seems possible that this William Dollins was husband of Effie Doxie.
