In 1999 my husband and I visited England and talked with John Dollins, who lives in southern England, and Peter Dollins in London. Both were shocked to learn that there were Dollinses in the US -- even more so when we told them how many! Since that time I have found Dollinses in Somerset census and church records -- not as far back as the 1600s, unfortunately. I understand that there are Dollinses in Lincolnshire, but I haven't looked for these yet.
