Earlier records on the Dollins family can be found in Northumberland County, Virginia records. Richard's parents, John & Sarah; children: William, John, Sarah, Richard, Ann, and Presley. John Sr.'s inventory was 1725 in Northumberland Co. Does this mean that Richard did not come over with his parents? How old did you have to be to take the naturalization oath?

Richard's brother, John, died abt 1787 in Albemarle Co. He was married to Hannah and had a daughter Rebecca.

Richard's brother Presley was married to Elizabeth; he died abt 1778 Orange Co., VA.
