I am looking for information on the Dolman family in Ottawa, Ontario and in the province of British Columbia.
Dolman, John Henry m. to a Mary Elizabeth, maiden name unknown. John Henry would have been born bef 1849, unknown location.
Had a number of children at least 7 boys and 2 girls. By most accounts, the youngest would be my Great Grandfather George Charles (Charlie) Dolman, born 01 January 1869, in Ottawa. Charlie came to BC as a boy, and worked with horses for most of his life. Family stories indicate that he may have worked for a wealthy uncle in Ottawa, tending to his horses most probably prior to 1880.
Any information on this family line would be helpful.
