Heighway/Dolphin Connections
Posted by: Allan Graham (ID *****9121) Date: March 25, 2004 at 13:04:57

During the tracing of my family tree I have discovered that my gggrandfather Richard Heighway (b.circa 1828 at Broseley, Shropshire as per the 1881 Census for 24 Bilston Street, Wednesfield, Staffordshire)was married to Hannah (born circa 1830 at Bilston, Stafford, England according to the 1881 census)and they had nine children.
Recent information suggests that Hannah's maiden name was Dolphin. The marriage would I think have to be circa 1850.
Can anyone give me any information on whether 'my' Hannah could have been a Dolphin?
