I am sorry I have only just seen your post - a few years late! I think your Sheelagh is/was the step-daughter of my great-uncle. Sheelagh Dolphin was the daughter of Mabel de Blaquiere who married Hubert Peter Dolphin in 1899 - Sheelagh was born around 1900. They lived at Turoe House, Loughrea in Co Galway, which is (although I have not yet been there) right next to the Turoe Stone. Hubert Dolphin died early, Mabel married 2nd in 1909 John Moriarty, who was Serjeant-at-Law for Ireland and Senior Crown Prosecutor for the city of Cork. He died again early, and Mabel married for the third time - this time my great-uncle Captain Robert Guy of the Wiltshire Regiment. This was in 1915. She was certainly present at my great-uncle's military funeral in Wiltshire in 1927. (Mabel became a widow for the third time!)
I have always wondered about Sheelagh - did she marry - has she any descendants? I would love to have a copy of that photo. Hoave you any more information - where did you get the data about her schooling?
