My greatgrandfather was Henry Dolphin, born in Birmingham in about 1855. His son, my grandfather, was born in London on 18 October 1879. His son, my father, Edwin Charles Dolphin, was born in London on 22 Nov 1903 and died there on 14 December 1965. They were all silversmiths.
