The Dolphins that I am looking for originated in Argyll, Scotland. James Dolphin b 1805 married Margaret Jean Campbell.
Their children were Peter Duncan, Alexander, Elizabeth, Catherine, James, and Angus. Angus was born in Glasgow just before the family came to North America. Peter Duncan settled in Ontario and married Mary Catherine Campbell. Their children were Walter, Duncan Peter, James Alexander, Donald and Florence.
Angus went to the USA and married Mary Jane Shaw. Their children were Margaret Jean, Benjamin Franklin, Henry, and Mary Oleva.
If any of this sounds familiar please contact me again.
