I too am researching my Dolphin family. My Dolphin family came from Reeth and Fremington in Yorkshire. My great grandmother Annie Dolphin was born in 1880 in Reeth, Yorkshire. Her parents were Joseph William Dolphin (b ca 1849) and Margaret Hannah (nee Spensley). Joseph William Dolphin had at least two brothers, John (born ca 1844) and Adam (born ca 1848) (both born in Fremington). Their parents were John (born ca 1807) and Ann(nee Thwaites born ca 1809). John had died in 1867, while Ann was still alive in the 1881 census.

Do you have any information about my Dolphin family?
