Farley Dolphine 1858 Massachusetts

I am attempting to trace my great grandfathers family in Ireland. The first recording of his name in U.S. records is on my grandmother's birth certificate registered in 1858 in Clinton, Massachusetts.

His name was Farley Dolphin born in Ireland. My great grandmother's name was Mary Anne Cohane also born in Ireland. My grandmother's name was Mary Anne Dolphin and she died around 1918 in Lancaster, Massachusetts.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

While visiting in Ireland a few years ago, I was told that the Irish Dolphin family name was of eastern Ireland origin.
