DOMINGUES in LA>TX

I’m hoping that someone will recognize some of my Domingues and can help me to fill in some blanks. I grew up with a step-family, so my knowledge of my Domingue roots is sketchy at best.

Great Grandfather MOISE Domingue (no details) believe he was from Louisiana.

Grandfather AVERY Domingue b. 12/12/1907 unknown d. 1/1987 Louisiana (Carencro?) m. Lucille Touchette before 1930 (she died 1971 in Louisiana). My grandparents lived for a time in Jefferson County, Texas, where my parents met in high school (late 40’s) and married in 1951. Grandparents moved back to Louisiana later, probably after 1957. Only knew them slightly and don’t remember much.

Avery & Lucille had three sons and one daughter, all of whom are still living, and I know I have at least six first cousins out there somewhere. Hopefully one will be doing genealogy and stumble upon this post.

I have just started sending for documents, so I would be grateful for any information. Thanks!
