My maiden name is Domingue - we pronounced it same as explained in Ed Domangue's post on 8/30/00. My father was french speaking, born in Montreal, Canada. All of my french speaking relatives pronounce it the same way: Doe-mang. Another way to think of it is to think of Lemon Meringue pie; drop the 'Mer' and ad the 'Dom'.
