I have a James Scannell who was a witness to my great grandparents marriage, that took place in Worcester MA, 1883. possibly a nephew to your Honoria? I can't find a connection between him and my family (my great grandparents were Henry Hughes and Margaret McCarron) I suspect he was a friend of my great grandfather's.
I also have a Donahoe line. A gggrandmother was Julia Donahoe (dau. of Cornelius and Margaret) b. circa 1834, Ireland (? Co. Clare) I believe she had a brother Denis/Dennis. Julia married Michael Cadigan (also spelled Cadogan, Caddagan, etc) in 1864.
