William & Bridget, Iowa late 1800s

Have read many of the messages in this forum as so many of the first names were the names from my family but none appear to have settled in Iowa.
My Great Grandfather William (Willie)Donahoe and his wife Bridget (Cullin or Collin)came from Ireland and settled around Emmetsburg, IA. They had one son, also William who married Esther (Domeck?)
We know Willie and Bridget came from Ireland but know nothing about where or other ancestors prior to them.
I know this is like a needle in a haystack but I thought it would be worth a try.
