I'm trying to sort out the 2 different Willis Donahos that are on the 1850 Walker County census. Here is what the census has on sheet 256a: 30 72 72 Donahoe Willis 46 M Far 88 S Car 31 72 72 Donahoe Hannah 43 F Geo 32 72 72 Donahoe Matilda 13 F Texas 33 72 72 Donahoe Thos 9 M Texas 34 72 72 Donahoe Julie 6 F Texas 35 72 72 Donahoe David 4 M Texas Also on sheet 256b: 1 75 75 Donahoe Willis 39 M F Far 1,000 Miss X 2 75 75 Donahoe Mary 28 F Miss 3 75 75 Donahoe Madison 14 M Texas 4 75 75 Donahoe Laurinda 8 F Texas 5 75 75 Donahoe Matthew 7 M Texas 6 75 75 Donahoe Calvin 6 M Texas 7 75 75 Donahoe Matilda 6/12 F Texas In my records I had only one Willis, the son of Daniel David Donaho and Nancy Larimore. I had his birth date as 1811 and had his wife as Hannah Glass. I had shown children: F i Mary Donaho. M ii Calvin Donaho. F iii Lorioda Donaho. F iv Matilda Donaho. M v Thomas Donaho. F vi Abia Donaho. No dates on any of the children. My records seem to be a mix of the two Willises. Can anyone sort them out for me? Who are the parents of the other Willis? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Steve Moody Notify Administrator about this message?
